About The Role

Our holistic and agile approach to Managed Services evolves alongside the ever-changing landscape to continually protect the critical data and people of our clients. Due to growing demand, an opportunity has opened for the right person to assist in the development and drive of our Managed Services.


We are looking for a motivated, passionate, enthusiastic technician to hit the ground running. You will be working as part of a dynamic technical team that is responsible for monitoring and maintaining various types of services and infrastructure such as on-prem/cloud/hybrid environments.


Some of the services you will be supporting include monitoring, backups, patch management, endpoint protection, email filtering, web filtering as well as numerous other key services. They will need to be available for scheduled and unscheduled after-hours work. They will also be required to be in the on-call after hours team.


You will be exposed to a broad range of technologies and platforms and you will be provided with a personalised development plan that will focus on your skills and growth. This will give you the best opportunity to grow within this role and beyond.

Do demonstrate some the following:

Experience in IT

Up to 2 years’ experience in IT / MSP service desk environment

ITIL v3 Foundation

ITIL v3 Foundation experience / understanding

Excellent written / verbal communication

Excellent written / verbal communication

Working with Children’s check

Working with Children’s check – Emerging IT will provide

Will be advantageous to have the following:

  • Microsoft:  Server, SQL, Active Directory
  • Remote Desktop: Terminal Server, Citrix
  • Virtualisation: VMWare, Hyper V
  • Remote Desktop: Terminal Server, Citrix experience/understanding.
  • Networking: Cisco, Aruba
  • Cloud: O365, Azure, AWS, SharePoint
  • Firewall & Security: Cyberoam, Cisco, Sophos, Juniper
  • Messaging: Exchange, Google Mail, Microsoft 365, Teams
  • RMM: Kaseya VSA, N-able N-central experience/understanding
  • PSA: ConnectWise Manage experience/understanding.
  • Any Programming skills - SQL, PowerShell, Java, HTML, etc.
