PRESS RELEASE: Emerging IT Named Finalist in 2025 techpartner.news Impact Awards for Workforce Empowerment

Emerging IT is proud to announce that we’ve been named a finalist in the 2025 techpartner.news Impact Awards in the Workforce Empowerment category, recognising our 365 Cloud Security solution and its role in transforming cyber resilience for mid-sized Australian businesses.

This marks the third national recognition for our 365 Cloud Security program, acknowledging the real impact it’s making. With Microsoft 365 now one of the most targeted platforms for cyber attacks, businesses need practical, proven solutions. Our program was built to meet that challenge head-on, helping Australian teams protect their environment without adding complexity or pressure on internal staff.

Being recognised for the third time across national awards is a huge moment for our team,” said Dean Wilson, Managing Director at Emerging IT. “It’s not just about winning—it’s about proving that a cyber security product designed right here by our Australian team can stand alongside the best. To have our 365 Cloud Security solution acknowledged in the Cyber Daily Awards, last year’s Impact Awards, and now again in 2025, shows how important local innovation is in keeping our business community safe.

Designed and built by our own security analysts and ethical hackers, 365 Cloud Security and our Security Awareness Training program were developed to give businesses the tools and support they need to stay ahead of evolving threats.

“Cyber security has become personal for a lot of people,” said Nick Kropp, Cyber Security Team Leader. “We’ve all heard stories of breaches through Microsoft 365. Our job is to make it harder for attackers to get in, and easier for businesses to recover if they do.”

With features like identity breach prevention, phishing simulation, and real-time response planning, 365 Cloud Security empowers Australian teams with simple, secure, supported protection.

Microsoft’s 2024 Digital Defence Report revealed that Microsoft systems face over 600 million cyberattacks per day globally, a number that underscores why proactive protection is no longer optional.

As cybercrime becomes more common, Emerging IT’s approach remains grounded in one thing: helping Australian businesses do more with less, and making security an asset, not a blocker, for growth.
